We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to conservation, preservation and education for the world's tallest animal and preserve vital habitats, raise awareness, and protect the delicate ecosystems in which giraffes thrive.

In 2025 giraffe experts determined that of the six species and subspecies of giraffes only 10% of each remains, and 90% of giraffes' natural range has vanished.

Our vision is to save giraffes, their lands, and the Maasai communities that live alongside them.

In partnership with local Maasai we are building a giraffe sanctuary, Tafakari (Swahili for reflections) to ensure peace and safety for giraffes and their Maasai counterparts.

This sanctuary protects giraffes from encroachment, and poachers and returns to Maasai their ancestral birthright to the land.

By raising awareness and taking decisive action,  we will ensure giraffes and their guardians, the Maasai, not only survive, but thrive for generations to come.
